I think this is a wonderful tool in art an amazing chance to see and experience people’s imaginations on a scale and style we haven’t done in the past. The only thing I question is do we miss out on something too. I am not advocating this but an old art school teacher challenged me to touch as many of the great works of art that I could. I don’t think that touching a bit of art the computer compares to seeing it in person nor can come close to the same thrill of looking left and right and touching Van Gogh in his museum in Amsterdam… Scale too is also lost and many of my favorite images have become so because I experienced them on a scale that was massive or extremely small adding to the experience.

I Think the intention of Adobe was to be one of the first to open a digital museum of this kind. This digital museum is practically asking the role of the real art museums by making a trip to the museum easier, cheaper, more interactive and very convenient to the public.
I would assume the Adobe museum was created to have a different and possibly better layout for viewing art media. If you don’t want to go see the art in the museum then the art will be brought to you by adobe via internet.
